These Competition Rules apply to all Competitions that are made available via our Services. We may update these Competition Rules from time to time. It is very important that you check each relevant section of these Competition Rules before participating in any Competition, as by entering the Competition you agree to be bound by and comply with the most current version of these Competition Rules. Any changes that are made to these Competition Rules will not apply to Competitions that you entered before the changes came into effect.

None of our competitions are sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any of the Gift Card Brands, Google and their Google Play Store, Apple and their Apple Store, or any other app store providers. Our competitions are independently organized and operated by our company.

These Competition Rules form part of our Terms. By participating in any Competition, you also agree to be bound by and comply with our Terms of Service and Gift Card Terms and Conditions.

Terms that begin with capital letters (defined terms) have the meanings that are given to them in these Competition Rules or, if they are not defined in these Competition Rules, they have the meanings that are given to them in the Terms. These Competition Rules are split into the following sections:

  • Section 1: Significant Conditions – these apply to all Competitions and your attention is specifically drawn to these provisions.
  • Section 2: Coin Rules – these apply to your use of Coins on our Service.
  • Section 3: Wheel of Fortune (or Instant Spin) Rules – these apply each time you participate in an 'Instant Spin' Competition.
  • Section 4: Raffle Rules – these apply each time that you participate in a 'Raffle' Competition.
  • Section 5: Scratch Card Rules – these apply each time you participate in an 'Scratch Card' Competition.
  • Section 6: Referral Scheme Rules.
  • Section 7: Entry Requirements.

1. Significant Conditions

Rewards Redemption Terms

Eligibility for Competitions: Participation in our competitions is open to all users who have created a profile on the everup service. Please note that entering these competitions does not require you to make any purchases, hold funds, or top-up any of our products or services.

Types of Rewards: Participants in our competitions have the opportunity to receive different types of rewards, which may include Cashback Points or Gift Cards.

Redeeming Cashback Points Rewards: If you receive a reward in the form of Cashback Points, please be aware that, unless a lesser amount is specified in the app, a minimum total of 1,000 Cashback Points (currently corresponding to £10.00 redemption value) is necessary to redeem it. You can redeem your accumulated Cashback Points by following the Reward Redemption options displayed on the app or our websites.

Liability for Unredeemed Rewards: everup holds no responsibility for any unredeemed reward amounts if the service is discontinued or if a user's account is suspended or closed. To ensure both your security and convenience, we strongly advise redeeming any Cashback Points promptly by purchasing additional Gift Cards through our app.

Expiration of Rewards: Please note that Cashback Points expire 12 months after they have been awarded. Similarly, all non-Cashback Points rewards (including Virtual Coins) expire 3 months after their award date. It is the responsibility of the reward receiver to claim and utilise their rewards within these time frames. We do not guarantee the continuous availability of games or competitions where Virtual Coins can be used. The selection of games, competitions, and any related mechanics may change, be temporarily unavailable, or be discontinued at any time at our sole discretion without prior notice. Users acknowledge that Virtual Coins hold no monetary value and cannot be refunded, exchanged, or converted into cash.

Cashback Points are promotional reward points credited through Competitions, purchases and promotional activities. Cashback Points are not money, stored value, bank deposits or electronic money. Cashback Points may currently be redeemed within the Services at a rate of 100 Cashback Points for £1.00 redemption value, subject to these Competition Rules and the Terms and Conditions.

2. Virtual Coin Rules

This section ("Coin Rules") applies to: (a) our allocation of Virtual Coins to your Profile; and (b) your use of Coins on our Service.

2.1. Earning Virtual Coins

a) We may credit Virtual Coins and/or free Bonus Entries to your Profile for certain activities, including:

  • Registering a Profile with us;
  • Opening or validating an everup Gift Card Account;
  • Successfully referring someone to everup who then meets our referral program requirements;
  • Purchasing a product from us;
  • Signing in regularly;
  • Verifying your identity;
  • Verifying your mobile phone number; and
  • Any other activities deemed eligible by us and in our sole discretion for a credit of Coins or Free Bonus Entries.

Checking Your Virtual Coins Balance and Bonus Entries: To view your current Coin balance, navigate to the "Account Balances" section in our app and select the Reward option. For information on the number of free Bonus Entries you have received for each specific game, simply check within the game itself.

b) We may also credit Virtual Coins to your Profile as a reward for participating in a Competition.

c) It may take up to twenty-four (24) hours for Coin(s) to be credited to your Profile after you become eligible to receive them.

2.2. Using Virtual Coins

a) Virtual Coins can only be used to participate in Competitions via our Services.

b) Virtual Coins have no monetary value and cannot be traded or exchanged for money or money's worth.

c) You must not sell, barter, trade or otherwise transfer Virtual Coins to any third party. We reserve the right to suspend or close your Profile if you do or attempt to do any of these things.

d) If you have played the Bonus Entry by participating in each Competition, one or more Virtual Coins are required to additionally participate in any and all Competitions on our Services.

e) Each Competition will specify the number of Coins that are required to participate in it. If your Coin Balance is sufficient, you can use your Coins to participate by pressing play and selecting the "use Coins" option on the relevant Competition page, and the requisite number of Coins will be deducted from your Coin Balance.

2.3. Virtual Coins expiry and Bonus Entries caps

a) If your everup profile remains inactive for ninety (90) days or more, your Virtual Coins balance may be reset to zero.

b) If your Profile is closed for any reason, any unused Virtual Coins in your Profile will be deleted. You may, at our discretion, be able to claim them back if your Profile is reactivated within thirty (30) days of account closure.

c) Unused free Bonus Entries can be accumulated up to a specified limit. For current information on the accumulation caps for each game, please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) or contact our support team for assistance.

3. Wheel of Fortune (or Instant Spin) Rules

This section ("Wheel of Fortune or Instant Spin Rules") applies, together with the Virtual Coins Rules and General Rules, each time that you participate in any Wheel of Fortune Competition on our Services.

3.1. How to participate

  • Log in to your Profile on our app.
  • Go to the relevant Competition page.
  • Spin the wheel by pressing "play for free" or "play" accordingly.
  • You may be eligible for a free Bonus Entry in certain Wheel of Fortune games each day when you sign in. To learn more about your eligibility and the options available, please refer to the app and consult our customer support team if needed. Games that have credited you with free Bonus Entries are marked with a number icon on a green background in the top right corner of the game's logo. A positive number in this icon indicates the specific number of free Bonus Entries you have received.

3.2 Competition Week

Each week you can participate in a Wheel of Fortune Competition between the following times:

  • Start Time: Friday at 12:00:01 a.m.
  • End Time: Thursday at 11:59:59 p.m.

3.3 Competition Day

On certain days, you may also be able to participate in a daily Wheel of Fortune Competition between the following times:

  • Start Time: 12:00:01 a.m.
  • End Time: 11:59:59 p.m. (unless all prizes are won sooner)

3.4 Winner Selection

a) When you spin the wheel, it will land on an icon.

b) If it lands on a Reward icon, you will receive an onscreen animation telling you that you are eligible to win the Reward indicated by the icon.

c) The icon on which the wheel lands is determined when you spin by a random number generator.

d) Please note that each slot on our Wheel of Fortune games has varying odds of winning. Although the slots are visually represented as equal in size for user interface convenience, the likelihood of winning each reward differs. For detailed information about the odds of winning the highest-value rewards, simply click on the information icon (i) provided within the game interface.

e) If you win any Gift Card or a Cashback Points reward exceeding £1,500.00, you can claim it by reaching out to our customer support team. All your reward details are securely stored and available for review in your winnings' history, accessible at any time through your account profile by tapping on Rewards.

4. Daily Raffle Rules

This section ("Daily Raffle Rules") applies, together with the Coin Rules and General Rules, each time that you participate in any Daily Raffle Competition on our Services.

4.1. How to participate

a) You may receive additional free Bonus Entries based on the balance of your everup Voucher/Gift Card. Bonus Entries and free everup Voucher/Gift Card Bonus Entries (if applicable) are limited to a cap indicated on the Competition page.

b) During your participation in a competition, you may have the opportunity to access a 'Bonus Entries Booster.' This feature allows you to receive additional free Bonus Entries by confirming your participation. To activate this booster, simply visit the relevant Competition page and tap or press the designated booster button. The availability of this feature is time-limited, typically being released for a few hours following the conclusion of the last draw. Its availability is not guaranteed for every competition. We recommend checking the app after the final draw to see if the booster option is available and to understand the multiplier that will be applied to your free entries.

4.2. Competition Day

Each day you can participate in a raffle Competition between the following times:

  • Start Time: on the day before the draw 17:00:01
  • End Time: on the draw day 16:59:59

4.3. Selection of Winners

a) Each raffle entry is allocated a unique reference number ("Raffle Reference")

b) At each Daily Draw, fifty (50) raffle references are selected at random from all of the Raffle references allocated during that day.

c) If your Raffle Reference is selected, you will be eligible to win a reward.

d) Details of the rewards are set out on the Competition page in the results section.

5. Scratch Card Rules

This section ("Scratch Card Rules") applies, together with the Coin Rules and General Rules, each time that you participate in any scratch card Competition on our Services.

5.1. How to participate

  • Log in to your Profile on our app.
  • Go to the relevant Competition page.
  • Scratch the card by picking one card when you go to the "Pick One & Play" and pressing the "play" button accordingly.
  • You may be eligible for a free Bonus Entry in certain Scratch Card games each day when you sign in. To learn more about your eligibility and the options available, please refer to the app and consult our customer support team if needed. Games that have credited you with free Bonus Entries are marked with a number icon on a green background in the top right corner of the game's logo. A positive number in this icon indicates the specific number of free Bonus Entries you have received.

5.2. Competition Day

On certain days, you may be able to participate in a daily Scratch Card Competition between the following times:

  • Start Time: 12:00:01 a.m.
  • End Time: 11:59:59 p.m. (unless all prizes are won sooner)

5.3 Winner Selection

a) When you scratch the card, it will reveal the reward that you won.

b) If a reward is uncovered, your reward will be added to your total Virtual Coins or Cashback Points amount depending on the reward won.

c) The rewards revealed by scratching the card are determined by a random number generator.

d) Details of the rewards available are set out on the Competition page.

6. Referral Scheme Rules

This section ("Referral Scheme Rules") applies, together with the Virtual Coin Rules and General Rules, each time that you participate in the referral scheme on our Services.

6.1. How to participate

  • Log in to your Profile on our app.
  • Go to the relevant referral page.
  • Invite friends by pressing "invite friends".

6.2. Referral Scheme

Each day you can invite your friends and get rewards in return at any time.

6.3. Rewards

Each time you invite a friend you may get rewards according to the status that you achieve, details of which are on the "refer a friend" section of the app.

7. Entry Requirements and Participation Guidelines for Competitions

7.1. Restrictions on Entry

Participation in our Competitions is open to all with no purchase necessary. However, to enter a Competition, you must satisfy the eligibility criteria outlined in Section 5.1 of our Terms and Conditions and meet the following conditions:

  • Possess an active internet connection;
  • Be a registered everup user with a valid profile;
  • Maintain either (i) a Virtual Coins Balance at or above the specific Coin Requirement for the Competition, or (ii) use the Bonus Entry provided for each Competition;
  • Not be an everup employee or a direct relative of an employee.

Unless otherwise stated on the specific Competition page, you are welcome to participate in any Competition multiple times, provided you have sufficient Bonus Entries and/or Virtual Coins Balance as required for that particular Competition.

7.2. Rewards

a) The Rewards for each Competition are specified on the Competition page.

b) Virtual Coins and Bonus Entries cannot be substituted for a cash or Cashback Points alternative.

c) For some Competitions, we cap the number of rewards that will be awarded during a Competition Period/Competition Week. We always try to ensure that any cap we set is reasonable in order to avoid disappointment. However, sometimes the cap will be reached before the Competition Period/Competition Week closes.

d) Any applicable caps on the availability of rewards will be specified on the Competition page. We will stop accepting entries if the cap has been reached.

e) A list of recent winners is available in the "Results & Winners" section of our App.

7.3. Claiming your Rewards

a) We will make diligent attempts to notify you via our mobile app using the details associated with your Profile. However, if you choose to opt out of everup communications, neglect to update your contact details, keep the app up to date, or do not keep an active connection token by signing in regularly, we cannot guarantee notifications regarding potential reward winnings.

b) We cannot be held responsible for unclaimed prizes due to failed contact attempts or undelivered notifications to your mobile device. It remains your responsibility to check the competition results and submit any claims.

c) Rewards in the form of Bonus Entries, Virtual Coins, or Cashback Points rewards under 150,000 Cashback Points (which currently corresponds to £1,500 redemption value), will typically be credited to your Rewards section as Cashback Points from Games within 2-3 days following the relevant Competition. This is subject to our confirmation of your eligibility for the reward. To redeem Cashback Points, simply select the redemption options in our Gift Card shop. Please be aware that a minimum threshold must be met before you can redeem your rewards. For more details on the minimum requirement, refer to Section 1 (Significant Conditions).

d) For Cashback Points rewards of over 150,000 Cashback Points (which currently corresponds to £1,500 redemption value), you may be asked to submit a prize claim form including but not limited to the following documentation; a copy of your photo ID and proof of residence so that we can verify that (i) you are the Profile holder and (ii) you meet the eligibility requirements specified in these Competition Rules and our Terms and Conditions. You will not be entitled to your prize, and your prize will be forfeited, if you fail to provide these documents when asked for them within 10 days or we are unable to verify (i) and (ii) with the documents that you do provide to us.

e) All Cashback Points can be claimed following the Redemption options displayed on the app or our websites.

f) We will use reasonable efforts to contact you via the contact details associated with your account. If you elect to not be contacted by everup or fail to keep your contact details up to date we will not be able to inform you about any reward that you may have won. We will not be liable for any rewards that are not claimed. It is the responsibility of the reward winners to claim and utilize their reward within the time frames specified under our Terms and Conditions and Competition Rules.

7.4. Winner Selection

a) We administer the selection of all winners using random number generator software.

b) You fully accept and agree that this random number generator software will determine all outcomes of those Competitions. In the event of a discrepancy between the results displayed on your device, and a Competition's records on our server, our records will be regarded as definitive.

c) In the event of systems or communications errors relating to the generation of any result, bet settlement or any other element of a Competition, we will not be liable to you as a result of any such errors and we reserve the right to void all related bets and plays on the Game in question.

7.5 Consent to use your name

a) When you claim your reward, you consent to us publishing your first name, first letter of your last name on the "winners" page of our app and website.

b) You can withdraw this consent by contacting support@everup.uk.

7.6. Disqualified entries

We reserve the right to disqualify your entry and void any reward if we reasonably believe that:

  • you have tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Competition or entered by fraudulent means;
  • you have breached any applicable provision of our Terms (including these Competition Rules) or any Applicable Law;
  • you have, or have attempted to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of a Competition;

No entries from agents, third parties, syndicated entries or those made using methods such as a computer macro, script or the use of automated devices are permitted and no bulk entries are permitted.

7.7. Errors and discrepancies

a) All times specified in these Competition Rules are in GMT (or BST, if daylight saving hours apply).

b) Our Service's database clock will be the official timekeeper for all Competitions.

c) We are not responsible for any incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, or untimely submission of entries, whether caused by you, our equipment or software, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Competition.

d) We accept no responsibility or liability for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries.

e) We reserve the right to amend the details of any prize where an incorrect reward has been displayed as a result of any bug, virus, software glitch or manifest error. We will make any such amendments promptly once we are made aware of any such error.

f) In the event of a dispute over the identity of a winning participant, we will deem the winner to be the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Profile from which the entry was submitted. In this context, "Authorized account holder" is the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an internet access provider, on-line service provider, wireless carrier, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

7.8. Liability

The limits of our liability to you and your liability to us in relation to any Competition are set out in paragraphs 14 to 16 of the Terms. Please read those paragraphs very carefully as they affect your legal rights, remedies and obligations.
